Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the design, development, and operation and maintenance of enterprise-scale applications
Participate in agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies
Deliver full-stack solutions using Java, Spring MVC/Security/Boot, React, and PostgreSQL
Design and implement robust backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot
Architect scalable and secure PostgreSQL schemas, optimized queries, and entity relationships
Create secure and responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
Implement reusable frontend design patterns
Support data migration between legacy and modern systems while ensuring data integrity
Develop secure RESTful APIs for data access and system integration
Plan and execute application deployments using version control and CI/CD best practices
Provide support throughout project lifecycle phases
Align solutions with enterprise security, Section 508 accessibility compliance, and governance requirements
Report to the Program Manager
Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in full-stack development roles
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred 5+ years of demonstrated experience in enterprise application development
Proficient in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
Advanced backend development capabilities with Java, Spring MVC Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven, Git/GitLab
Database design and migration expertise, including normalized PostgreSQL schemas and entity relationships
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Keycloak, and CI/CD tools
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
Proficient with Jira and Confluence
Strong performance in CI/CD process automation tools
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
Must be able to pass a background check; additional checks may be required
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Analytical troubleshooting ability
Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work on-site in a professional office environment
Ability to work flexible or non-standard hours and potentially travel
