About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, configure, and maintain on-premises, Azure, and cloud-based SharePoint environments
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize SharePoint system performance
  • Support governance efforts, service requests, and user inquiries
  • Administer SharePoint Online security, access controls, and feature configurations
  • Administer and maintain on-premises/Azure Power BI Report Server environments
  • Configure data sources, manage report deployments, and resolve report accessibility issues
  • Monitor server performance and report refresh reliability
  • Oversee and troubleshoot SQL servers supporting Power BI Report Server operations
  • Support ADFS environments and resolve authentication and claims-related issues
  • Maintain secure and reliable access configurations for enterprise applications
  • Provide SQL administration and support for mission-critical database servers
  • Monitor and test failover clusters for high availability and disaster recovery readiness
  • Collaborate with database teams on patching, maintenance, and system stability
  • Perform Windows Server patching, updates, and configuration management
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and lead ATO remediation efforts
  • Monitor system health, analyze logs, and respond to alerts
  • Manage or support Azure services for hybrid integrations, identity storage, and SharePoint Online
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-connected systems
  • Participate in cloud governance, automation, and operational best-practice initiatives
  • Resolve escalated operational tickets and system issues
  • Develop infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
  • Participate in upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects
  • Collaborate with security, networking, development, and data platform teams
  • Report to the Program Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint environments (on-prem, Azure, and SharePoint Online)
  • At least 3 years of experience with patching, security hardening, and compliance-focused remediation tasks, such as NIST 800-53 or similar frameworks
  • Direct experience with Power BI Report Server, SQL administration, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and Windows Server operating systems
  • Familiarity with Azure services, hybrid cloud models, and associated components
  • Proven troubleshooting expertise
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • Must be able to pass a background check; additional checks may be required
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to changing priorities, and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and on a multifunctional team
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods
  • Ability to use computers and office productivity tools efficiently
  • Must be able to sit for long periods while looking at a computer screen
  • May be asked to work outside normal business hours, holidays, and travel for business or professional development
