About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-line support for incidents and technical issues reported by client staff and customers
- Categorize and escalate incidents according to severity and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Escalate cases to specialized teams such as Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Management
- Coordinate with regional teams, private-sector entities, and partners throughout the incident lifecycle
- Track and verify distribution and resolution of service requests
- Maintain shared mailboxes, incoming incident reports, and phone systems for efficient case routing and response
- Perform correlation analysis across cyber, physical, and communication threats
- Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly reports on emerging threat patterns and operational metrics
- Deliver customer service and technical support to client partners during incident responses
- Participate in shift synchronization meetings to support seamless 24/7 Operations Center transitions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Homeland Security or Business, or a combination of education, technical training and equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
- ITIL v4/v5 Certification
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality customer service and understanding support workflows and client engagement best practices
- Additional two years of experience may be substituted with an Associate’s degree
- Additional four years of military and/or operations environment experience may be substituted with a high school diploma
- Must have between zero and two years of related experience
- Minimum 2 years working directly with customer and service desk functions for WATCH Operations Center or Security Operations Center (SOC)
- U.S. Citizen required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance and DHS Fitness
- Must be able to work varying hours of 8–12 hours to support 24/7/365 operations
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Skilled in utilizing Amazon Connect
- Demonstrated knowledge of customer service techniques and service desk or call center support
- Experience with ServiceNOW or Remedy
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
