About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support all aspects of full stack development, including enhancements, system issue resolution, and performance improvements
  • Work through the application lifecycle from requirements gathering and development to production support
  • Create solution architecture for new initiatives
  • Build new applications from scratch and upgrade legacy systems
  • Address performance bottlenecks
  • Gather, analyze, document, and refine functional requirements with system owners
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system issues
  • Perform system monitoring, debugging, patching, and regular maintenance
  • Upgrade applications to current versions for security, compliance, and performance
  • Design, develop, and deploy full stack .NET-based web applications
  • Create scalable and secure solution architectures
  • Develop and optimize front-end and back-end components
  • Build user interfaces using Telerik tools and JavaScript
  • Develop backend systems using C# and .NET Framework
  • Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Engage government and contractor stakeholders to define objectives and ensure delivery
  • Work in cross-functional Agile teams when applicable
  • Document technical solutions, processes, and integrations
  • Report to the Program Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with .NET development and full stack applications
  • C# programming expertise
  • Proficient understanding of the .NET Framework
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and front-end development integration
  • Skilled in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) for database design and management
  • Experience with Telerik tools for UI component development
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and potentially additional project/client background checks
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interpret technical requirements
  • Ability to coordinate with specialized teams
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in a professional office environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays or outside normal business hours when required
  • Ability to travel for business or professional development purposes when required
