About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting services and financial reporting for a portfolio of client engagements
  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members
  • Oversee client onboarding activities, including system setup, project planning, and process implementation
  • Review management reporting packages, financial statements, reconciliations, and other client deliverables
  • Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and management reporting
  • Monitor engagement performance, resource utilization, work-in-progress, and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify process improvements and technology-driven efficiencies
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality, timeliness, and exceptional client service
  • Support the implementation of new accounting technologies and special projects as needed
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience within a public accounting firm
  • Experience providing outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory, or controllership services to multiple clients
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Experience leading and developing accounting professionals, including remote and offshore team members
  • Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management skills
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
