About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and report on client- and state-specific requests, including analyzing, reviewing, interpreting, and summarizing detailed medical claims and enrollment data
  • Independently determine methodologies and approach for projects
  • Lead development of client deliverables, including written documents
  • Manage timelines and completion of client deliverables using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other tools
  • Ensure all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review
  • Communicate project status updates with internal team members
  • Act as a resource for support staff
  • Participate in client meetings, client presentations, and internal team meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, or an internship (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a professional environment performing actuarial, data, financial, or health care-related analyses and consulting (preferred)
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise and preserve required licenses
  • Thorough understanding of health care delivery, with emphasis on Medicaid
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Expertise using Microsoft Office suite
  • Presentation skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally
