Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and report on client- and state-specific requests, including reviewing, interpreting, and summarizing detailed medical claims and enrollment data
Independently determine methodologies and approaches for projects
Lead development of client deliverables, including written documents
Manage timelines and complete client deliverables using Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other tools
Ensure all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review
Communicate project status updates with junior and senior internal team members
Act as a resource for support staff
Participate in client meetings, client presentations, and internal team meetings
Attend client conference calls
Perform analytical project work and complete on-the-job training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in a related field, or an internship (preferred)
1-3 years of relevant experience in a professional environment performing actuarial, data, financial, or health care-related analyses and consulting (preferred)
Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise and preserve required licenses
Thorough understanding of health care delivery, with emphasis on Medicaid
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Expertise using Microsoft Office suite
Presentation skills
Proficient use of applicable technology
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally
