About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet all client timelines with a results-oriented mindset
  • Build a team focused on audits of private equity and venture capital portfolio companies
  • Travel with audit teams as needed based on portfolio company locations
  • Develop and maintain strong client and investment company owner relationships
  • Collaborate with tax private equity co-sourcing, advisory, and investment company assurance practices to develop a go-to-market strategy targeting portfolio company audits
  • Understand the private equity and venture capital investment life cycle, including potential public and private exits of fund investments
  • Leverage existing investment company relationships across audit, tax, and advisory groups
  • Work with local assurance resources and national subject matter experts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 6 years of supervisory experience
  • Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
