About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet all client timelines
  • Develop and maintain strong client/investment company owner relationships
  • Collaborate with tax private equity co-sourcing, advisory and investment company assurance practices to develop a go-to-market strategy targeting portfolio company audits
  • Understand the private equity and venture capital investment life cycle, including potential public and private exits
  • Handle client responsibilities using proficient technical skills and knowledge of trends, industries, and alternatives
  • Develop new clients in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development
  • Manage and retain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects
  • Leverage existing investment company relationships of audit, tax, and advisory groups
  • Travel with audit teams as needed based on portfolio company locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Taxation or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred
  • CPA candidates preferred
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
