About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive process improvements, implement digital solutions, and support strategic change initiatives within the benefits & insurance practice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, and facilitate adoption of benefits & insurance technologies
  • Partner with benefits & insurance professionals and IT teams to streamline and standardize processes using offshore resources, automation, process reengineering, and advanced workflow technologies
  • Gather, document, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirements documents for current- and future-state processes
  • Facilitate design workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence & AI teams to implement analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions
  • Support project management activities, including timelines, resource planning, risk identification, and status reporting
  • Assist with change management, including user training, documentation, and communication strategies
  • Monitor KPIs and adoption metrics to measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate and advise on new technologies, vendors, and products; track industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 6 years of related experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems is preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with business stakeholders and leaders, IT project planning, delivery, and execution using Traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with VSTS, Jira, and/or other team/project collaboration tools
  • Ability to work in and lead a team, while communicating and coordinating with peer teams
  • Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • 7+ years’ experience in benefits & insurance and/or benefits & insurance technology transformation preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of benefits & insurance processes
  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape and hands-on experience implementing AI tools, managing change, and delivering measurable value
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple competing priorities
