About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for all cash related reconciliations, including local cash, consolidated cash, and payroll cash
- Responsible for booking all corporate cash transactions through corporate cash accounts
- Responsible for accounting for certain CBIZ compensation and retention programs
- Prepare quarterly bank certificate associated with company debt
- Establish productive relationships with team members and departments involved in the bank certificate process
- Conduct quarterly internal financial reporting surveys
- Complete relevant government statutory surveys, including reporting to the US Census Bureau
- Record and consolidate results of the Captive Insurance Company
- Review intercompany reconciliations
- Review assigned areas in public filings
- Review assigned SOX control testing, including applicable SOC reports
- Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and other corporate functional departments to promote collaboration and communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of experience as a subject matter expert
- Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Effective customer service skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
- Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
