About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join CBIZ’s internal-facing Assurance Transformation team
- Drive process improvements, implement digital solutions, and support strategic change initiatives within the assurance practice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and facilitate adoption of assurance technologies
- Partner with assurance professionals and IT teams to streamline and standardize assurance processes using offshore resources, automation, process reengineering, and advanced workflow technologies
- Gather, document, and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirements documents for current and future-state processes
- Facilitate design workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and AI teams on analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions
- Support project management through timelines, resource planning, risk identification, and status reporting
- Assist with change management, user training, documentation, and communication strategies
- Monitor KPIs and adoption metrics for continuous improvement
- Evaluate and advise on technologies, vendors, and products; stay current with industry trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- College Degree or equivalent
- 3 years related experience
- Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to execute and draft technical instructions and guidelines
- Ability to document daily activities and system functions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication across all organizational levels, internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
- Strong understanding of audit principles and regulations
- Understanding of how technology can enhance the audit process
- Deep understanding of the AI landscape
- Hands-on experience implementing AI tools, managing change, and delivering measurable value
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple competing priorities
