About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and maintain the enterprise-wide AI vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Establish a governance framework for the safe, secure, and effective adoption of AI
  • Identify and prioritize AI investment opportunities
  • Monitor AI-related regulatory developments and assess their impact
  • Advise management and provide strategic recommendations
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI platforms, LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems
  • Define selection criteria and contribute to purchasing decisions for AI platforms, services, and tools
  • Define and maintain the AI reference architecture
  • Contribute to integrating AI capabilities into the engineering toolchain
  • Define best practices for AI-assisted engineering
  • Expand AI use cases to non-technical activities
  • Coordinate pilots and proof-of-concepts (POCs) before scaling
  • Measure benefits, risks, and ROI
  • Support team upskilling through coaching, workshops, and awareness initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 10 years of experience in software/systems engineering, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, or data/AI
  • Experience leading AI initiatives or enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Ability to translate business objectives into a technology strategy and investment roadmap
  • Strong command of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and enterprise AI platforms
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, intellectual property, and compliance
  • Knowledge of configuration management, change control, traceability, and certification-oriented processes
  • Proficiency with modern toolchains, including GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, and documentation-as-code
  • Ability to engage with executive leadership while working on technical architecture
  • Fluent English; French strongly preferred
  • Resident in Switzerland, holder of a G permit, or willing to relocate to the region
  • Able to start promptly in a position based in Geneva
