Work as a software engineer on a web-based application product using Java-related and open-source technologies
Develop and enhance product offerings in accordance with design and business objectives
Continuously research and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Identify potential issues and develop possible solutions
Provide ongoing support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities
Support colleagues in fulfilling their personal development plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3+ years of experience for the Medior level and 5+ years for the Senior level; candidates may apply regardless of years of experience if confident in their skills
Hands-on experience with the Java ecosystem and Spring Boot
Knowledge of core Java concepts, including OOP, Collections, Threading, Concurrency, and memory management
Experience with at least one NoSQL database: MongoDB, Cassandra, or Neo4j
Ability to write structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code
Strong experience in RESTful API design and integration
Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining microservices-based and event-driven architectures
Hands-on experience with distributed-system challenges, including latency, partial failures, retries, and timeouts
Experience with design patterns, coding standards, and TDD
Understanding of agent-based systems and tool-calling architectures
Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool orchestration frameworks
Experience with cloud-based technologies; AWS and OpenShift; Docker is a plus
Experience with Kotlin, NodeJS, Python, or ReactJS is a plus
Working knowledge of functional programming languages is a plus
Willingness to coach, mentor, and train less senior colleagues
Good command of English, both written and verbal, is essential
