About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and customize enterprise applications using Java and other technologies, including Temenos technologies and solutions
  • Produce technical documentation based on code created during development and customization
  • Collaborate with the technical team lead and application test lead during the development lifecycle to clarify design requirements and approaches and ensure deliverable quality
  • Refactor existing code as part of maintenance and enhancements
  • Add and build new test cases on existing test suites
  • Provide technical support directly to clients or members of the support team
  • Deploy and create new pipelines in Jenkins
  • Study basic SonarQube and SCM integration
  • Translate business requirements into application features, support application stability, and work with clients and teams to ensure successful solution delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of solid Java/J2EE experience
  • Strong SQL skills, including constructing complex queries and developing stored procedures
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE and Java web frameworks such as Spring and Struts
  • Experience with either Spring or Struts web framework required; knowledge of both advantageous
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and basic UI/UX concepts
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development cycles
  • Basic UML knowledge and understanding of design and integration patterns
  • Willingness to learn and work with Temenos technologies and enterprise banking solutions and adapt to multi-technology environments
  • Strong problem-solving, consulting mindset, and client-facing communication skills
  • Experience in Fintech is a plus
