About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and govern faculty and research data in cooperation with IT teams, acting as the data owner and business representative
  • Manage and analyze faculty and research data across different systems
  • Work with the IT and Digital Services Department (DOSI) to develop analytical products for managing the faculty, research, scientific impact, and international accreditation processes
  • Collaborate with the Accreditation, Human Resources, Information Systems and Digital Transformation, Marketing and Communications, Programs, and Student Experience teams
  • Manage faculty data using the ACADEM tool
  • Contribute to the integration of faculty and research data management systems
  • Act as the data owner and work with the data lake team to produce dashboards and reports
  • Monitor and support dashboard usage within the Faculty and Research Department, together with the support team and managers
  • Analyze data to produce reports for the Accreditation, Programs, and Student Experience teams
  • Produce analyses of faculty and research outcomes for the Marketing and Communications Department, particularly for rankings
  • Serve as the liaison between the IT Department and the Faculty & Research Department for IT projects, particularly the Open Science initiative
  • Contribute as a runner to the development of mySKEMA, the School’s internal ERP
  • Explain and communicate the business logic related to faculty and research to IT teams and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum master’s degree (five years of higher education) in economics or management, with a strong quantitative background
  • At least three years of experience in higher education or research centers, preferably at a business school
  • Experience managing datasets
  • Proficiency in statistical tools, such as R, STATA, and VBA
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment
  • Data modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Power BI, VBA, and SQL
  • Professional fluency in English
