About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build OEM account plans and corresponding team objectives to achieve annual objectives
  • Establish and maintain executive-level OEM relationships
  • Negotiate OEM requirements aligned with CDK strategies
  • Lead 1-to-1 client meetings and speak at industry events
  • Work with product and marketing teams on OEM-focused sales priorities
  • Collect client input and feedback and manage client expectations
  • Partner with dealer sales organization to enable and penetrate OEM dealer programs
  • Co-sell and troubleshoot as needed
  • Use data, dashboards, and insights to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Cultivate influential dealer networks and influence OEM decision-making
  • Oversee complex OEM dealer programs, certifications, prioritization, and OEM negotiations
  • Serve as escalation point for dealers and OEMs and achieve cross-functional resolutions
  • Build business cases and negotiate client terms
  • Partner with executive leadership on large-scale negotiations
  • Collaborate with commercial, finance, legal, operations, and product and engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years direct experience selling to executive level OEM decision makers
  • 3-5 years leading successful sales and account management teams
  • Automotive technology expertise with an understanding of dynamics between OEMs and retailers
  • Knowledge of OEM governed dealer programs, incentives, and requirements
  • Strong technology aptitude with understanding of product planning and development cycles
  • Proven ability to use data and insights to manage client expectations, sell solutions, and continuously demonstrate value
  • Ability to manage large and complex contract negotiations, SOW development, and financial performance tracking
  • Must be open to regular field travel and in-person presence at OEM clients
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based visa sponsorship
