About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult, install, and train customers on CDK Global solutions
- Understand products within assigned workflows, including parts, service, accounting, and sales
- Determine customer business needs and recommend appropriate functionality and configuration
- Verify and validate setup configurations and conversion data
- Conduct status meetings with customer personnel to review open issues, incompatibilities, functionality gaps, product change requests, and process changes
- Develop and finalize action plans with clients to address open issues
- Complete daily trip reports documenting project status
- Facilitate work-in-process activities and ensure client go-live readiness
- Monitor customer trainee progress and set training objectives
- Maintain current product, process, and industry knowledge
- Answer participant questions and elaborate on training content
- Apply adult learning theory and facilitation skills to support different learning styles and group dynamics
- Mentor and train new associates or associates new to a product set
- Monitor and document associate trainee progress
- Support on-site leadership by focusing on project milestones and deliverables
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Able to travel 100% including flying and extended driving
- Available to fulfill periodic weekend travel and/or work requests
- Flexible to non-standard working conditions, including standing and walking
- 2 or more years of Retail Automotive experience
- Retail Automotive Management Experience is required
- Associates Degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Valid Passport for North American, Canada and Caribbean travel
- Must have a valid driver's license and eligible to rent a car
- CDK Retail certification in primary Work Flow is preferred
- CDK Retail certification in core Work Flow Add Ons is encouraged
- CDK Retail certification in additional Work Flows is encouraged
- Formal Training experience is encouraged
- Retail Experience in additional CDK Work Flows is preferred
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based visa sponsorship
