About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the global business leader for CECO’s Particulate Platform
  • Own overall strategy, commercial expansion, operational excellence, and financial performance
  • Direct sales, engineering, manufacturing, and service functions
  • Manage the full Profit & Loss (P&L) of the business
  • Drive margin expansion through strategic pricing, structural cost optimization, and scalable operational models
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning
  • Execute global growth strategies across established and emerging markets
  • Identify high-growth end markets and align the portfolio with customer and regulatory demands
  • Lead organic growth, product innovation, and acquisition integration
  • Guide global direct and channel sales strategies
  • Strengthen strategic customer partnerships across industrial sectors
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for engineered systems and aftermarket services
  • Oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and project execution
  • Champion Lean transformation and continuous improvement
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality execution of engineered systems and capital projects
  • Guide engineering and technology teams in product innovation and application engineering
  • Oversee particulate technologies including dust collectors, cyclones, filtration systems, and scrubbers
  • Ensure alignment with EPA and international emissions standards
  • Build and develop a high-performing global organization and succession pipelines
  • Foster accountability, performance, purpose, and customer focus
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements
  • Position CECO as a trusted partner for emissions control and sustainable plant performance
  • Guide industrial operators in reducing particulate emissions and optimizing system performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial, engineered systems, or environmental technologies
  • Direct P&L responsibility, ideally within a $100M–$250M+ business unit
  • Strong background in industrial air pollution control / filtration
  • Experience in engineered-to-order (ETO) or project-based environments
  • Experience with dust collection / baghouses
  • Experience with cyclones and separators
  • Experience with scrubbers and filtration systems
  • Exposure to chemical / petrochemical, power generation, and semiconductor / advanced manufacturing industries
  • M&A integration or portfolio transformation experience
  • Demonstrated success leading global teams and complex operations
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement certification, such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Toyota Production Principles
  • Ability to travel across borders, including intercontinental travel
  • Regular weekly schedule to local office(s)
