About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead cross-functional, complex projects and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Establish project scope and detailed requirements through stakeholder requirements-gathering sessions
  • Document and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and manage issues, risks, and changes
  • Communicate with team members and follow up to ensure tasks are completed according to plan
  • Develop project plans for schedules, resources, and budgets
  • Collaborate with resource managers, lead team members, Finance, and executives
  • Monitor and track progress against project plans
  • Report project status to stakeholders through formal and informal communication methods
  • Create regular status reports
  • Continuously improve project management processes and standards
  • Monitor project hours, costs, and budgets against estimates
  • Establish and maintain project files according to document-control procedures
  • Use project management tools and follow document-control procedures
  • Attend project kickoff meetings
  • Research non-standard components and provide information to the Engineering Manager
  • Conduct project review meetings with management, purchasing, and production departments
  • Provide engineering assistance regarding drawings and Compass systems
  • Implement customer documents, review comments, and draw redlines
  • Perform other similar duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • MBA desired
  • 1–3 years of demonstrated project management experience and project implementation
  • Experience with distributed project teams
  • Ability to prioritize and organize, especially while managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to present complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadlines
  • PMI certification strongly preferred
  • No travel required
  • Compliance with company attendance standards
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and associated physical functions
