About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive profitable growth for the Kemco and Mefiag product portfolios within an assigned territory
- Develop and execute regional growth plans aligned with company objectives
- Identify and penetrate new markets, industries, applications, and customer segments
- Generate, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement
- Build and maintain an opportunity pipeline and accurate sales forecasts
- Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with distributors, agents, and channel partners
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing and prospective customers
- Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
- Support contract renewals and long-term account retention initiatives
- Promote aftermarket opportunities including spare parts, service agreements, retrofits, and upgrades
- Understand customer processes, operational challenges, and business objectives
- Recommend technically and commercially viable solutions
- Deliver product presentations, technical discussions, and solution demonstrations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Applications, Operations, and Project Management teams on solution development and proposals
- Support customers throughout project execution and implementation
- Expand adoption of Kemco and Mefiag products in targeted industries and geographic markets
- Establish relationships with contractors, engineering firms, consultants, and system integrators
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, industry associations, and customer events
- Communicate customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights for business planning and product development
- Maintain accurate customer, account, and opportunity information in CRM systems
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, territory plans, and business reviews
- Monitor performance against revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
- Report on pipeline activity, forecast accuracy, market conditions, and competitive intelligence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Professional proficiency in English
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, business development, or account management
- Proven track record of developing, closing, and growing new business opportunities
- Experience selling capital equipment, engineered solutions, industrial systems, or technical products
- Experience managing multi-state territories, strategic accounts, or large customer portfolios
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and territory plans
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout industrial and customer facilities
- Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to safely work in industrial environments while utilizing required PPE
- Willingness/ability to travel 40%–60% domestically, with occasional international travel
