About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead execution of customer projects from order release through final delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer requirements are met
  • Establish priorities, workflows, and performance expectations across Project Management, Engineering, and Procurement
  • Allocate resources across multiple projects in a matrixed organization
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Drive accountability for milestones, deliverables, financial performance, and operational metrics
  • Monitor project status and update leadership on schedule, cost, resources, risks, and opportunities
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Fabrication, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and customers
  • Liaise between project teams and manufacturing operations
  • Engage customers on project requirements, schedules, issue resolution, and performance
  • Establish project management processes, standards, and best practices
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve execution, communication, efficiency, quality, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, ISO-9001 standards, and applicable regulations
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop project management, engineering, procurement, and related personnel
  • Conduct workforce planning and support employee engagement, performance management, professional development, and succession planning
  • Oversee project-related expenditures and support revenue, margin, and backlog conversion objectives
  • Provide leadership with execution insights, recommendations, and business performance indicators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline and ten (10) or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
  • Ten (10+) years of experience within industrial, manufacturing, engineered-to-order, or project-based business environments
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams and executing complex customer projects
  • Experience managing project schedules, resource planning, budgets, customer deliverables, and project profitability
  • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and resources preferred
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering design, ASME Pressure Vessel Code, ISO-9001 quality systems, welding standards, and/or the oil & gas, energy, industrial, or process equipment industries preferred
  • Travel is required as business needs dictate, including the ability to travel domestically and internationally, and across borders as required
  • None required under Licensing/Certifications; PMP and P.E. certifications preferred
  • Ability to perform the listed physical activities and work under normal office conditions
  • Compliance with company attendance standards is required
