About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage client projects and programs, including multiple ongoing projects for the same client, from initiation to closure
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within the contractual scope
- Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and budget
- Coordinate and engage internal resources for flawless project execution
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders as the primary client contact
- Develop project and program plans with relevant stakeholders and ensure feasibility
- Track progress against project plans and set review meetings and dates
- Resolve issues and initiate corrective actions or interventions when project or program gaps are identified
- Report and escalate to senior leadership as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Scientific and Operational teams to drive programs to completion and manage project financial health
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc in life sciences
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar client-facing/project management role
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of techniques for planning and managing projects/programs in terms of scope, schedule and budget
- Excellent client management skills
- Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise and engage project teams to deliver as per contractual obligations
- Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
