About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a liaison with vendors and business partners to build strong, continuous relationships and understand business requirements, needs, and service expectations
  • Work alongside vendor management team members to maintain complex vendor relationships and enhance vendor experience
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure member or provider satisfaction and performance
  • Assess key performance data to monitor and measure productivity of specific programs and program compliance
  • Build reports using key performance data for metrics and process improvement identification
  • Liaise between internal departments and vendors to handle escalations, including claims
  • Represent the company/department in new business and process implementations from initial launch through day-to-day interactions
  • Seek new business opportunities with vendors to create collaborative relationships supporting compliance with standards and requirements
  • Perform root cause analyses with vendors to identify business issues and problems
  • Liaise with workforce management and training teams to schedule and support vendor training
  • Work directly with vendors on training, planned maintenance, and other services to educate and provide product/service updates
  • Comply with all policies and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2–4 years of related experience
  • Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position may substitute
  • Sales, call center, and vendor management experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AWS, Calabrio, Salesforce, Ascend, Excel, and Power BI preferred
