About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical roles including data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts
  • Monitor and support critical production processes, including provider directory feeds, credentialing feeds, provider data quality processes, Medicaid provider registration, and downstream provider data transmissions
  • Develop efficient code for enhancements and bug fixes
  • Design and develop software solutions and process flows according to standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Identify and implement improvements for performance, scalability, automation, data quality, and repeatability
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Create, execute, and evaluate unit and integration tests
  • Assess architectural impacts and solutions arising from business requirements
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements, determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints, and estimate required work
  • Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents
  • Provide implementation expertise for rollback, post-installation, data migration, support plans, and related artifacts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 2–4 years of related experience
  • Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position
  • Strong application development and data engineering experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of provider data and provider directory processes, particularly within Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace programs
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/SSIS, Power BI, and SSRS
  • Intermediate knowledge of Snowflake
  • Experience with application development and software development
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and software design
  • Ability to comply with security management practices, established security standards, policies, and standards
