About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead activities to achieve membership/enrollment goals through marketing projects, new market initiatives, health fairs, community activities, training, retention activities, sales visibility, outreach, networking and lead generation.
  • Research and assess market and business opportunities.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, collaborate on and conduct meetings, presentations, activities, training, product orientations, focus groups, field marketing events and projects.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships and information to increase membership/enrollment targets.
  • Represent the department at internal and external meetings with vendors, departments, communities and providers.
  • Develop sales, broker product training, member retention, new member training and outreach presentations.
  • Act as department liaison for market materials, collateral rollouts, inventory and reports.
  • Serve as point person on key projects.
  • Work with management to develop workflow policy and procedure documentation for strategy, planning, products, collateral and sales strategies.
  • Prospect and initiate field marketing, grassroots lead generation, provider co-op and community venue opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the sales team for successful market execution.
  • Develop plans to increase crossover enrollment and assist with outreach activities.
  • Comply with all policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates must live in Ohio, preferably in Northeast Ohio - Cleveland, Akron, Canton area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years sales/marketing experience, preferably with government products.
  • Health insurance or managed care experience preferred.
  • Specific language skills may be required by some plans.
  • Driver’s License may be required by some plans.
  • Life and Health License can be obtained within 90 days of employment if required by the Business Unit/Department.
  • For Fidelis Care and Medicare only: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • For Medicare only: Travel up to 80%; must be willing to travel within assigned territory.
