About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate, process, and maintain provider and member correspondence for preservice and concurrent review
- Generate correspondence from EMR documentation
- Ensure correspondence tasks are processed in a timely manner according to regulatory standards and policies
- Update and maintain correspondence templates based on regulatory and interdepartmental correspondence inquiries
- Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting activities impacting processes
- Assist with the compliance and turnaround-time log for correspondence notifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- High School diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of correspondence process, including understanding medical record information preferred
- Ability to generate correspondence from EMR documentation
- Ability to update and maintain correspondence templates based on regulatory and interdepartmental inquiries
- Ability to coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting activities
- Ability to comply with policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and turnaround-time requirements
