About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership for complex quality reporting programs
Partner across Quality, Operations, QTS/IT, Health Plans, and other teams to drive successful outcomes
Lead large scale, cross functional projects
Oversee program planning, management, and execution, including scope, schedule, and budget
Create comprehensive timelines and ensure appropriate project deliverables follow project management standards
Coordinate project managers and business analysts managing individual workgroups
Create executive-level dashboards, project status updates, and post-implementation analytics reports
Create and deliver best-practice and training information
Work with the training team to create and review training materials
Prepare and deliver documents for Program Steering Committees and the Executive team
Assess program risks and issues and escalate them to leadership as needed
Manage risk, budget/forecast, dependencies, and strategic analysis of business or operational opportunities
Serve as the first escalation point for project issues and risks
Resolve issues, create risk mitigation plans, and communicate business and technology issues and solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required
8+ years of Program or Project Management experience required
Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large scale projects, or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of staff required
Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management tools required
Master’s degree preferred
Healthcare experience and/or managed care experience preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred
