About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support healthcare vendor performance, cost, savings, and return-on-investment analyses
  • Extract claims and member data using SQL and clean large datasets for analysis
  • Analyze data in Excel and build or maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Create visualizations, presentations, and summaries explaining findings to business stakeholders
  • Learn processes and functions within the Managed Care industry
  • Contribute to projects supporting the business and apply academic knowledge
  • Research legal, regulatory, and other topics within the functional area and industry
  • Attend training and development presentations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college through the internship period
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably studying a field related to the hiring department, such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
  • Must have experience with SQL and Excel
  • Power BI experience is nice to have
  • Must be available for a summer 2027 internship
