About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and deliver strategic programs and complex, large-scale enterprise-wide projects
  • Coordinate, provide visibility into, and manage key risks and dependencies
  • Lead matrixed teams through complex integration initiatives
  • Create and present executive-level program communications and facilitate cross-functional executive discussions
  • Lead large-scale cross-functional implementation or process-improvement projects
  • Oversee program scope, schedule, budget, timelines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate project managers and business analysts across Operations, Finance, Benefit Operations, and other workgroups
  • Create executive dashboards, project-status updates, and post-implementation analytics reports
  • Deliver best-practice and training information and collaborate on training materials
  • Prepare and deliver Steering Committee documents to the Executive team
  • Assess and escalate program risks and issues
  • Manage risk, budget/forecast, dependencies, and strategic business or operational analysis
  • Serve as the first escalation point for project issues and risks and create mitigation plans
  • Communicate business and technology issues and solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience required
  • Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large scale projects, or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing staff required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management tools required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Healthcare experience and/or managed care experience preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred
