About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program maturity through strategy, solution design, and enterprise data-loss risk reduction
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex DLP solutions, including policy strategy, tuning, and false-positive reduction
  • Develop and implement data protection strategies across cloud and on-premises environments
  • Enhance enterprise document labeling, classification, and handling processes
  • Maintain DLP documentation, including configurations, policies, and incident-response procedures
  • Lead investigations and documentation of complex or high-risk DLP alerts
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to analysts
  • Partner with Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and IT stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain DLP metrics, dashboards, and reporting
  • Monitor emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements impacting data protection
  • Comply with all policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity/Information Security, Privacy, Risk or Governance fields or other related field or equivalent experience required
  • 4+ years Data governance, data protection, information security operations or related technical domain required
  • Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated data environments required
  • Advanced working knowledge of data classification, data sensitivity, and secure data handling practices required
  • Advanced experience supporting or leading data protection or information security initiatives in regulated complex environments preferred
  • Experience owning or leading components of data protection or DLP program, such as incident response, policy refinement, metrics, or control optimization preferred
  • Experience designing, tuning, or optimizing enterprise data protection controls preferred
  • Experience mentoring or providing guidance to other analysts preferred
  • Experience applying AI-assisted tools to DLP operations and implementing AI risk controls for AI/GenAI data protection preferred
  • Master's Degree in a related field preferred
  • Privacy, Security, Analytics or other industry related certification(s) preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
