About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee product managers translating the product roadmap into technical features and requirements
- Monitor technical maturity against standards, guidelines and patterns
- Prioritize technology enhancements for a sustainable, reliable and desirable platform
- Explore competitors' products and solutions to meet or exceed current capabilities cost effectively
- Collaborate on product vision, strategy and roadmap alignment with corporate strategy
- Ensure staff act as the face of the customer to define and prioritize product changes
- Lead product planning and support for medium to large technical projects involving multi-product customer environments
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and technical project leads
- Define objectives and key results and support technical teams in meeting goals
- Coordinate product releases with stakeholders
- Advise product owners and development teams on features and acceptance criteria
- Recommend technical and process improvements
- Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, leadership, technical guidance and coaching
- Develop staff capabilities and communicate organizational objectives
- Conduct platform analysis to identify strategic productivity improvements
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the platform
- Ensure successful execution of the product roadmap
- Own and manage platform stability, availability and performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, including prior management experience
- Equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position may substitute for the degree and experience requirement
- Experience with one or more of: Agile Software Development, Business Analysis, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Management, Project Management
- Knowledge of specified product domain and industry trends
- Ability to lead/manage others
- Collaboration and team building skills
- Ability to coach and deliver constructive feedback
- Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
- Effective conflict management skills
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agile Practitioner, or equivalent required
- SAFe Scrum Master Certification preferred
- Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
