About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design data integration, processing, reporting, and analytics solutions
- Execute strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery
- Develop data platform capabilities and roadmaps in collaboration with the Data Strategy Architect
- Analyze high-level requirements and create workflow charts, diagrams, specifications, process models, organization models, and use cases
- Plan, develop, and participate in integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions
- Document and integrate architecture guidelines, standards, and common services
- Recommend data sources, platforms, and tools aligned with data strategy, quality standards, and integration requirements
- Provide technical guidance for data and analytics products and platforms
- Provide subject matter expertise in information architecture
- Develop and enforce data architecture standards with Business, Application, and Operations counterparts
- Maintain documentation mapping data models to information systems and business applications
- Partner with Strategy, Enterprise, and Information Architecture teams on enterprise data modernization initiatives
- Define architecture for data ingestion, integration, storage, analytics, reporting, security, governance, and operational support
- Coordinate intake, discovery, requirements clarification, and stakeholder alignment across business, product, engineering, and platform teams
- Translate business outcomes into implementable data and analytics solutions
- Manage the data dictionary
- Assist in building enterprise architecture information blueprints and data models
- Participate in data architecture, data sourcing, data flow, solution, and enterprise information architecture discussions
- Collaborate on data-related business requirements and perform data architecture reviews
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 2–4 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill
- Solution Architecture experience
- Data Pipeline Integration and Data Governance experience
- Data Catalog, Metadata, and Lineage experience
- Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL), including Informatica or Talend
- Experience with OLAP, including Snowflake, Teradata, or Databricks
- Cloud Services knowledge, including AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
- OLTP Databases knowledge, including MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres
- Application Development knowledge, including Python or C#
- Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work independently
