About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support for clinical information systems to improve patient care delivery
  • Assist users with system navigation, troubleshooting, and patient monitoring issues
  • Collaborate with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement, and evaluate clinical systems and services
  • Investigate incidents related to clinical information systems and identify root causes
  • Use application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics, and create reports
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify system enhancements and improve application performance
  • Contribute to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement schedules
  • Provide systems management and guidance to end users
  • Understand business requirements and identify solutions through configuration or application development
  • Coordinate solution implementation through configuration or handoff to Technical Services
  • Follow IT Service Management governance frameworks and methodologies
  • Support risk identification and management
  • Suggest improvement opportunities
  • Document key technical support processes
  • Perform other assigned duties and comply with policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of related experience
  • May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio, including the ability to run and interpret basic-to-intermediate queries
  • Familiarity with Snowflake/Snowsight and cloud-based reporting concepts
  • Familiarity with Workfront, secure email, S3/file-transfer concepts, and Microsoft Excel is helpful
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and attention to detail
  • Ability to compare files and identify data-quality or formatting issues
  • Advanced professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to summarize complex findings in plain language and interact with external partners
  • Ability to organize competing requests, document work clearly, follow through on open items, and escalate appropriately
  • Experience serving as a 2nd line application support and problem management touchpoint
  • Preferred experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, healthcare reporting, pharma account support, data aggregation, or client reporting
