About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete regular chart reviews and coordinate monthly meetings
- Serve as a resource for advanced practice providers to ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with clinical leaders on quality of care, outcome data, procedures, and records issues
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with Nurse Practitioners
- Report to the Associate Director
- Provide virtual wraparound services supporting patients who cannot see their own PCP, including closing care gaps, ensuring timely medication access, and addressing urgent clinical needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current and unrestricted medical license in one or more of: Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, Kentucky, Missouri, or Indiana
- If supervising in Louisiana, Mississippi, or Indiana, must reside in that state
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university
- Board certification or Board Eligibility
- 2+ years of telemedicine/telehealth experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Collaborating Physician
- Ability to work approximately 5 hours per month
- Internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for home work
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information
