About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure operational efficiency, quality patient care, regulatory compliance, business development, patient-base growth, KPI achievement, and people management
  • Supervise branch and clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local certification and licensure requirements
  • Lead long-range planning, fiscal viability, and branch quality of care
  • Recruit, interview, and hire staff
  • Monitor quality care and organizational performance
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and branch administrators to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity, appropriateness, and quality of services
  • Oversee onsite branch operations and maintain a safe, compliant work environment
  • Monitor financial, clinical, and operational indicators; manage budgets and establish revenue goals
  • Develop branch plans, performance action plans, and budgets with the Market Executive of Operations
  • Partner with Sales on growth strategies, admission goals, and marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Clinical leadership to improve patient outcomes and service quality
  • Oversee chart audits, timely billing, continuous quality improvement, quarterly committee meetings, and patient satisfaction reviews
  • Hire, train, supervise, and develop Clinical Managers and back-office associates
  • Foster associate engagement, retention, productivity, and alignment with organizational values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered nurse with an undergraduate degree (associate's or bachelor's) from an accredited institution
  • Meet applicable state-specific requirements
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program
  • Experience in health service administration
  • Management and people leadership experience
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing home health agency operations
  • Experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff and developing a cohesive team
  • Competence using quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methodologies
  • Fiscal management experience, including oversight of profit and loss (P&L) statements
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms
  • Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions
  • Availability during all operational hours and participation in professional service activities
  • Traditional home health experience preferred
  • OASIS experience preferred
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred
