About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day branch operations to ensure operational efficiency, quality patient care, regulatory compliance, business development, patient-base growth, KPI achievement, and people management
- Supervise branch and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local certification and licensure requirements
- Lead long-range planning, fiscal viability, and quality of care
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff
- Monitor quality care and organizational performance
- Collaborate with clinical staff and branch administrators to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity, appropriateness, and quality of services
- Oversee onsite branch operations and maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment
- Monitor financial, clinical, and operational indicators; manage budgets and establish revenue and budget goals
- Develop strategic branch plans, performance action plans, and budgets with the Market Executive of Operations
- Partner with Sales on growth strategies, admission goals, and marketing initiatives
- Partner with Clinical leadership to improve patient outcomes and service quality
- Oversee chart audits, timely billing, continuous quality improvement, quarterly committee meetings, and patient satisfaction reviews
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop Clinical Managers and back-office associates
- Foster associate engagement, retention, productivity, and alignment with organizational values
- Participate in periodic on-call rotation and travel up to 10% as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and meet applicable state-specific requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- At least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program
- Experience in health service administration
- Management and people leadership experience
- Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing home health agency operations
- Experience motivating, educating, supervising, and supporting staff and developing a cohesive team
- Competence using quality improvement monitoring and reporting tools and methodologies
- Fiscal management experience, including oversight of profit and loss statements
- Demonstrated experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms
- Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions
- Availability during all operational hours and participation in professional service activities
- Traditional skilled home health experience strongly preferred
- OASIS experience strongly preferred
- Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets preferred
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred
