About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Turn messy, multi-source operational data into actionable planning inputs
  • Partner with operations, finance, and department leaders to understand decision needs
  • Build tooling and data products enabling planners and leaders to answer their own questions
  • Establish rigorous measures for forecast accuracy, capacity use, cost per prescription, and underlying drivers
  • Focus Area 1: Own pipelines consolidating workforce, volume, and operational data across platforms
  • Focus Area 1: Own data models used by forecasting tools
  • Focus Area 2: Own dashboards and self-service tools used by operations leaders
  • Focus Area 2: Define and maintain KPI frameworks
  • Tell the company in the application which focus area is preferred

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years of experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or a planning and forecasting function
  • Advanced SQL skills, including writing, tuning, and debugging complex queries against large operational datasets
  • Experience turning data into actionable business decisions
  • Experience explaining technical results to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline
  • Focus Area 1: Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in a cloud data environment such as Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Focus Area 1: Fluency in Python
  • Focus Area 1: Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design
  • Focus Area 2: Advanced Power BI skills, or Tableau/Looker experience with willingness to switch
  • Focus Area 2: Experience building KPI frameworks from scratch
  • Focus Area 2: Ability to decompose metrics to root cause
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information
  • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
