About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant school/training program OR Certified/Registered Medical Assistant OR 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certified
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required for candidates in Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience preferred
  • 1+ years MA experience preferred
  • Value-based Care experience, including knowledge of HEDIS, Certified Phlebotomy Technician/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication
  • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
