About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support management in billing and collection of accounts receivable for inpatient and outpatient accounts
  • Apply cash and perform reconciliation
  • Resolve customer service issues
  • Notify patients and/or guarantors of liabilities
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Assist customers with billing questions
  • Answer inbound calls for billing inquiries for all facilities
  • Ensure insurance information is entered properly on accounts
  • Process credit card payments
  • Complete customer service forms for various customer service requests
  • Complete weekly backlog
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, healthcare management or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service Call Center or relevant area
