About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and organize medical student and physician assistant educational programs
  • Organize shadowing and observation experiences for Atlantic Health learners
  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean for the Sidney Kimmel Medical College branch campus and the Director of UME for Atlantic Health
  • Compile data and program reports for medical and PA school affiliates and Atlantic Health
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and responsibilities
  • Serve as primary liaison to affiliates for medical students, PA students, observation, and shadowing experiences
  • Maintain communication with the Dean’s Office, Division of Academic Affairs, and clerkship administrators
  • Provide oversight and resources to Medical Clerkship Administrators
  • Liaise with Atlantic Health/AMG departments educating medical and PA students
  • Ensure equivalent student experiences in alignment with LCME, COCA, and other accrediting bodies
  • Assist with student recruitment for Atlantic Health rotations and UME-to-GME transition outreach
  • Coordinate internal communications with other departments, including ISS (Oracle)
  • Assist faculty with appointments, performance evaluations, educational portfolios, promotion, and teaching awards
  • Prepare MSPEs and letters of recommendation for students
  • Coordinate UME faculty development
  • Oversee programmatic evaluation and maintain data and reporting on UME activities
  • Support the Manager, Academic Affairs, MMC UME Coordinator I, and OMC GME Coordinator II as needed
  • Support Academic Affairs team members during medical leaves and vacations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1 year working within a healthcare or education setting
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate program needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
