About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having ASD
- Conduct, score, and interpret assessment measures
- Provide oral and written feedback on assessment results
- Administer autism-specific assessments such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R
- Assess developmental, intellectual/cognitive, adaptive, social, speech/language/communicative, medical, and neurological functioning
- Provide sensitive, thoughtful, and supportive feedback to parents
- Collaborate with team members, parents, young children, community colleagues, schools, community providers, and interdisciplinary clinical and research teams
- Participate in consultation and program development
- Assist in developing corporate structure and creating policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings
- Help manage office staff for maximum efficiency
- Maintain compliance with state- and payor-specific programs and certifications
- Promote Centria Healthcare’s growth and assist in pursuing business opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or PsyD degree in Psychology from an accredited university, with clinical, counseling, or school psychology specialty training
- Fully licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Licensed Psychologist or under provisions specified by the Board of Psychologist Examiners
- Specialization in early identification, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of ASD and related neurodevelopmental disorders from birth through 21 years
- Completed APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship
- Clinical training/background in early intervention programs
- Experience administering and scoring standardized assessment tools, including ADOS-2 and ADI-R
- Experience with assessments of developmental, intellectual/cognitive, adaptive, social, speech/language/communicative, medical, and neurological functioning
- 2+ years of professional experience examining, evaluating, and treating children and their families (preferred)
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of tablets/iPads
- Laptop
- G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to use computers and software programs
- Ability to communicate expressively and receptively
- Ability to interview, perform psychological evaluations, and provide treatment plans
- Expertise tracking clinical outcomes, progress, and compliance
- Proficiency preparing reports for parents, medical personnel, funding agencies, and medical records
- Ability to engage in one-to-one communication with parents and clients
- Customer service experience and understanding
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and achieve business goals
- Ability to provide special support and mentoring during and after regular business hours as needed
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds
