About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having ASD
  • Conduct, score, and interpret assessment measures
  • Provide oral and written feedback on evaluation results
  • Administer autism-specific assessments such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R
  • Assess developmental, intellectual, cognitive, adaptive, social, speech, language, communicative, medical, and neurological functioning
  • Provide sensitive, thoughtful, and supportive feedback to parents
  • Collaborate with team members, parents, young children, community colleagues, schools, and interdisciplinary clinical and research teams
  • Consult and participate in program development with community providers and schools
  • Develop corporate structure and create policies and procedures
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Help manage office staff for maximum efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with state- and payor-specific programs and certifications
  • Promote Centria Healthcare’s growth and assist in pursuing business opportunities
  • Meet company policies, quality standards, payor requirements, and qualitative or quantitative KPI/productivity goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited university, with clinical, counseling, or school psychology specialty training
  • Completed APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship
  • Fully licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Licensed Psychologist or under provisions specified by the Board of Psychologist Examiners
  • Specialization in early identification, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder and related neurodevelopmental disorders from birth through 21 years
  • Clinical training/background in early intervention programs
  • Experience administering and interpreting standardized assessments, including ADOS-2 and ADI-R
  • Experience administering and scoring tools such as Vineland, WPPSI, WISC-V, EVT, PPVT, PDDBI, PSI, SRS-2, and CBCL
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of tablets/iPads
  • Laptop
  • G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to use computers and computer/software programs
  • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively
  • Ability to interview, perform psychological evaluations, and provide treatment plans
  • Expertise in tracking clinical outcomes, progress, and compliance
  • Proficiency preparing reports for parents, medical personnel, funding agencies, and medical records
  • Ability to engage in one-to-one communication with parents and clients
  • Customer service experience and understanding
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve business goals
  • Ability to provide mentoring and support during and after regular business hours as needed
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds
