About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all steps of the judicial process for assigned NPL portfolios
- Coordinate necessary legal actions with all parties involved
- Monitor Law Firms’ execution of legal actions and ensure timely completion according to portfolio litigation policies
- Provide guidance and support to Law Firms and Frontline on legal action selection, execution, escalation, and court representation
- Monitor court proceedings, decisions, postponements, cancellations, and appeals
- Ensure timely updates in the Judicial system
- Monitor auctions, including auction programs, rankings, and claim tables
- Identify and recommend corrective actions related to auction progress and outcomes
- Define and recommend legal actions and auction strategies in accordance with portfolio policies
- Monitor prenotations, mortgage conversions, lien registrations, and other enforcement actions
- Coordinate with Law Firms, Frontline, Banks, Notaries, and internal departments to resolve legal, documentation, and operational issues
- Identify and escalate risks, delays, and issues throughout the enforcement and liquidation process
- Ensure accurate updates in relevant systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in Law Studies
- Active membership in a Greek Bar Association with a valid licence to practise
- 3–5 years of legal experience
- At least 1 year as an Enforcement Actions Lawyer
- Previous banking experience is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Greek civil procedure, security interests, auctions, electronic auction platform, and insolvency/debt-settlement framework
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken, sufficient for legal drafting, reporting, and direct communication with international investors
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Result orientation
- Problem-solving skills, including ability to structure challenges and deal with new issues in a dynamic work environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to act confidentially with professional ethos
