About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build prototypes demonstrating what fast inference makes possible
- Optimize model harnesses, including prompts, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation
- Write blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, and practical technical guides based on experiments
- Experiment with new models and investigate capabilities, limitations, and suitability for different tasks
- Design practical tests, measure results, and validate technical claims
- Make code easy to run and explain assumptions, tradeoffs, and limitations
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and New Media on launch examples, workshops, and technical stories
- Present work and educate developers on applying Cerebras technology
- Engage with developers, troubleshoot integrations, and turn recurring questions into improvements to examples, documentation, and product experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong portfolio of AI applications, prototypes, technical writing, tutorials, or other substantive developer-facing work
- Hands-on experience building with model APIs and debugging AI application workflows
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Experience with agent harnesses or related workflows involving prompting, tool calling, context management, and evaluation
- Informed view of the AI developer ecosystem and curiosity about new models, frameworks, and emerging application patterns
- Strong technical judgment, including designing fair comparisons, verifying results, and distinguishing observations from assumptions
- Original ideas for demos and developer experiences
- Ability to scope projects, ship independently, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with technical and creative partners
- Preferred: experience optimizing latency, responsiveness, or reliability in AI applications
- Preferred: contributions to open-source projects, developer tools, or publicly available technical examples
- Preferred: experience teaching developers through workshops, talks, or live demonstrations
- Portfolio must include links to code, prototypes, and technical writing, identifying personal contributions, investigated problems, and results or lessons learned
