About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own major platform areas such as billing, usage tracking, quotas, request logs, or metrics
Design and implement APIs, services, and user interfaces for the Cerebras Developer Console
Define system boundaries, data models, and real-time versus batch-processing tradeoffs
Drive ambiguous projects from idea through production and scale
Lead technical execution by breaking down work and aligning engineers
Improve system reliability, observability, debuggability, and production readiness
Partner with product and design to shape developer-facing workflows and experiences
Mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and promote simple, scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Track record of leading and delivering complex systems end-to-end
Strong fundamentals in APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems
Experience with high-scale or real-time systems is a plus
Full-stack capability across frontend and backend
Strong architectural and technical judgment
Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
High standards for correctness, maintainability, and long-term system health
Experience influencing and mentoring engineers through design reviews and guidance
Bias for action and ability to unblock self and others
Experience in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities
Typically 8+ years of industry experience building and operating production systems
Bachelor’s or master's in computer science, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with Next.js and TypeScript
Experience designing backend services with GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis
