About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help operate and continuously improve RPC's Foresight-to-Influence operating model
- Design and administer transparent prioritisation, review and sequencing processes
- Document decisions, trade-offs and next steps
- Translate agreed priorities into workstreams with owners, dependencies, decision points and handoffs
- Facilitate cross-functional planning, workshops and reviews
- Spot risks, stalled handoffs and emerging issues, and escalate them to decision-makers
- Ensure major initiatives consider intended audiences, outcomes and pathways to influence
- Maintain portfolio visibility for leadership
- Develop measures of adoption, engagement and influence
- Build feedback loops into future prioritisation
- Translate foresight scenarios and hypotheses into inputs for planning, prioritisation and stress-testing
- Create strategic narratives and executive-ready materials connecting initiatives into a coherent story
- Report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with the Managing Director and RPC leadership team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated track record of delivering results in project, programme, change management or operations roles
- Experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments without relying on direct authority
- Strategic thinking and problem solving
- Ability to look beyond your own team, understand the broader context and turn it into coherent, deliverable actions
- Hands-on approach to defining, prioritising and managing work, and leading others through execution
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to synthesise perspectives, surface trade-offs and help groups reach clear decisions
- Sound judgement in prioritisation, sequencing and knowing when to escalate
- Comfort working with imperfect quantitative and qualitative evidence and building practical dashboards and tools
- Rigour and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills
- MBA or project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus but not required
- Position may be based in eligible jurisdictions in the United States
