About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the organization's Safety and Accreditation Programs
- Work collaboratively with site leadership and organizational stakeholders under Quality Department leadership
- Serve as an operational resource for continuous accreditation readiness
- Proactively identify safety, regulatory, and accreditation risks
- Conduct readiness and compliance activities
- Monitor corrective actions and compliance trends
- Provide education and technical assistance
- Help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and others throughout the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree plus one year related experience; OR high school diploma / GED plus a combination of five years of education and/or experience in healthcare and/or safety
- Computer experience required, including proficiency in spreadsheets, report production and databases
- Electronic Health Records (E.H.R.) experience preferred
- Safety experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Detailed knowledge of The Joint Commission Ambulatory and Behavioral Health (PCMH) standards preferred
- May be required to use personal transportation to carry out job duties
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
- Must provide a current motor vehicle record
- Must provide current personal owner liability automobile insurance and maintain coverage throughout employment
- Must submit to a motor vehicle record check as needed and maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Must comply with PMS policies on Automobile Usage and Drug Free Workplace, and applicable state and federal laws
- May be required to complete transportation-related training
