About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for Finance and senior leadership
- Design and implement analytics frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders across and beyond Finance to identify data-driven improvement opportunities
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing analytics team through close day-to-day collaboration and daily catchups
- Shape the financial data strategy and implement AI to advance Finance reporting and decision-making
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with financial standards and reporting requirements
- Oversee finance-related analytics projects, including financial KPI dashboards, budget variance analysis, profitability, cost analysis, and forecasting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Fluency in financial terminology and ability to work closely with Finance stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric architecture, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Integration, and Power BI (DAX and Power Query/M Query)
- Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, semantic models, advanced SQL, ETL/ELT concepts, and data-warehousing principles
- Advanced practical experience building ETL/ELT processes, data models, and dashboards on Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent understanding of Microsoft Fabric core workloads
- Experience building and mentoring a team of data analysts
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences
- Strong knowledge of AI and practical applications in analytics, reporting, and decision-making, including Copilot-assisted development and insight generation
