About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for IT procurement across IT services, software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and sourcing solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet IT requirements
- Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics
- Drive continuous improvement and optimize procurement processes
- Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation
- Deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial environment, with a focus on IT procurement, including IT outsourcing, software, hardware, cloud, and/or telecommunications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional services environment
- Comfortable working in a global setup with clients in the US and other European countries
